The Fort Meade National Back Country Byway begins along Interstate 90 at the
Black Hills National Cemetery. It ends on Highway 34 / 79 east of Sturgis.
Sites located along this road include the Cemetery, VFW Memorial Chapel,
Curley Grime's Grave, Fort Meade Post Cemetery, prairie dog town, and
more.
The Fort Meade National Back Country Byway starts at exit 34 near the Black
Hills National Cemetery and runs approximately five miles. The BLM road
is a side road off of the Byway. The road is an improved gravel road.
