Stop two on the Rapid City Star Tour is Memorial Park and The Berlin Wall Exhibit. It is located just south of the Civic Center near Downtown Rapid City. The Berlin Wall Exhibit in Rapid City is America's largest such exhibit. The exhibit features two 12-foot segments of the wall as well as other original items. Memorial Park was built after the june 1972 flood that ravaged the town. It was built as a memorial to the 238 people who died during the flood. It also commemorates the heroes of the armed forces.

The exhibit and park is free of charge and is open all year.

The Black Hills Veterans Memorial

It is located along the south side of memorial park.

This statue was erected to comemorate the history of the state of South Dakota.
