The Memorial Park Rose Garden is South Dakota's only All-American Rose
Selection (AARS) garden. It includes over 100 varieties of teas, floribunda,
and grandifloras totaling over 1200 plants. The park where they reside was
built to commemorate the 238 lives lost during the devastating flood of 1972.
