Rapid City is the largest town in the Black Hills with a population of around 55,000 people, making it the second-largest town in South Dakota. It is located along Interstate-90 on the eastern side of the Black Hills. It has several attractions and sites to see within its borders, most of which are along the "City Star Tour." The City Star Tour is a marked path along the city's roads that takes you through the historical parts of town and by all of the attractions. It includes 11 points of interest and begins on the east side of town with a stop at the Black Hills Visitor Information Center located along I-90 at exit 61. Don't forget to stop at the attractions.
